AWHT - Occasions Catalogue2019

Hi fellow crafters! I haven't updated my blog for such a long time, I know!  At the end of the day, I'm just like any average blogger with a lot going on in life.  Blogging is sort of a way of keeping me going with making cards and connect with whoever clicks in by chance.  And I do appreciate if anyone stumbles upon my blog, even if just by accident!

Tonight the Art with Heart team are sharing creative projects using product from the occasions catalogue. The occasions catalogue is current now until June 3rd. Be sure to request your copy of the catalogue today (along with the sale-a-bration brochure).

Did you know that sale-a-bration is also a great time to join our fabulous team?   Feel free to ask me or anyone on the blog hop if you’d like more details, by clicking my icon on right column of this page.

Well, I've made quite a few cards already since the occasions catty was released, and sent out a few of them already.  But today I would like to focus on this particular stamps and dies bundle:

Needle & Thread Photopolymer Bundle

And here are my interpretations, two very similar cards just with different colour combos.  I got the inspiration from the catty itself - what a great source of creativity it is!

#card 1

Love the super cute stitches!

#card 2

I always have issues of not being able to use up the DSPs in the past.  Therefore by making two similar cards in style but with slightly different elements from the stamp set and DSP, I'm able to use more elements from the same themed products in one go.

And must I say, I finally found Delightful Dijon slightly more delightful when combining with the right coloursl!!!

Now it’s time to hop on over to our next participant, the very talented, Sue Madex!  I've seen Sue's demonstration at an OnStage event and she's absoulutely amazing!

You can also hop around to see other crafters' creations for the January 2019 blog hop:

Enjoy and happy crafting! xx

  1. Thanks for taking part in the Occasions Catalogue blog hop. You may have got inspiration from the catalogue but your sample is amazing.

  2. LOL about Delightful Dijon! I don't find it very delightful either!!! Your cards are lovely, but I'm more of a pink girl than green, so that's my winner tonight!

  3. I love the touch of drame Delightful Dijon is giving to the cards.

  4. Very pretty! Love all those delightful layers.

  5. Love the contrasting colours Kimberly. It really makes everything pop. Beautiful cards.

  6. Great cards. That Dijon really pops! Love them.

  7. One of my favourite suites in the catalogue Kimberly. Gorgeous cards. I agree, our catalogues are a great inspiration.

I would love to hear your say about my post. Leave a message! Thanks
