AWH Blog Hop is Sale-A-Bration | Jan 2020

Welcome to the first Art With Heart Blog Hop for year 2020!

This month we are featuring cards using the amazing products you can earn for free during our Sale-a-bration promotion.  As you know that Jan-March is Stampin' Up's Sale-a-bration month -  until the 31st of March, for anyone and for every $90 you spend on Stampin’ Up! products you will earn free products (i.e. stamps, dies, embellishments etc!) from our Sale-a-bration brochure.

Not just that, hostess’ earn bonuses too! When you host a party with sales above $500 you receive this Little Ladybug set in addition to the usual Hostess benefits.

Sale-a-bration also has a bonus for recruits joining during this promotion. For the joining fee of $169 you can choose your starter kit of products to the value of $235 plus  Mini Paper Cutter, 6" x 6" Designer Series Paper sampler and their choice of stamp set

So for today, I am showing 2 cards using products featured in the Mini-Catalogue( for more details), mainly the Timeless Tropical Bundle.  The bundle comes with a stamp set and dies, which makes the cards so easy and fun.  The new tropical theme is also refreshing and on trend.

#1 May Your Birthday Be Memorable

This is a CASE card from the mini catalogue, with the bundle.  I also added this very cool braided burlap trim which can be purchased from the catty.

#2 Aloha (Hello)

Love the coconut stamp! I also fussy cut the flowers and leaves from the free DSP that came with the mini trimmer purchase, thanks to Kate's tip!  I use the Coastal Weave 3D embossing folder on velum and use it for the backing of the "Aloha" diecut.

#3 May Your Holiday Be Memorable
Also a semi-CASED card from the caddy!  The photo was taken in the evening, so it doesn't have that warm sunny light on it.  Love the pineapple die it's so cute <3 p="">

All in all they're very easy to make with the bundle, and you can totally experiment with different Blends (the Stampin' Up blending colouring pens) on the stamped frangipani flowers.  They're so cute!

The next demonstrator to share their Sale-a-bration inspiration with you is Kate Morgan!   Kate is not only a very creative crafter, a perfectionist, but also a fantastic friend who is talented and kind, and inspiring in many levels.

    1. Thank you Chris! That idea came out of nowhere actually. It just means that if you sit in front of your craft desk daydreaming long enough with good amount of coffee, ideas will come up eventually LOL

  4. Lovely cards Kim. I love how you cut the circle out of the DSP and placed the sentiment inside. The next card has great use of the images from the DSP and hey, who doesn't love a giant pineapple!!!!
